Emirates or Ethihad?

 I am in the lucky situation to be able to choose between a position with EK and Ethihad.
Ethihad offers me a relatively fast career progression, whereas EK is a bit slower.
I will start as an FO in both cases. Whats the lifestyle like in both airlines? What about Dubai respectively Abu Dhabi?

 Nobody here to answer this question? Well, did some research myself but would be nice if someone with experience in either of the two companies could give some info...
