Check out this link and you will understand what problems people face when looking for a credit to for example finance flight training.

The article basically says that homeloans have fallen 40% in the last few months, unsecured loans are getting clamped on and CC lending is getting tighter.

To add a bit oil into the fire its interesting to note that the UK's 3rd biggest bank (Barclays) shares were dropping shocking 9% on Nov 9 within 3 minutes based on rumours about their losses.

Big numbers, big news and they call for troubles for guys wanting to get a loan for training.
Or are you lending money to a 20 year old, with no assets and no history and a so so outlook for a decent job?

Self-funded training looks unattractive to me...
