Hello controllers,

I am on approach to RWY 16R. There is an aircraft on the runway, which started its takeoff roll.
It is too tight for me to get in, ATC instructs me to go-around.

What do you do with the aircraft on the roll on 16R?
Can I expect to get a re-clearance to the original go-around procedure?

Thanks for your answers...

Sorry I'm no tower-man, but would expect the following:

...that they let the rolling aircraft to take off. Aborting it would cause troubles...hot breakes, overrun, ...

...and yes, I would expect a reclearance for the aircraft in the GA, but depends largely on the published SID and GA procedure resp. airspace structure.

Any comments from a controller?
