Fuel taxed for private flights?

 Does someone know whether private operators pay tax for their JET-A1 fuel in the UK or elsewhere? If so what is the difference between non-taxed and taxed fuel?

Just curious how much the increase in the fuel price would be if airliner would have to start paying tax for their fuel.

 Hi, in Austria the taxed Jet-a1 is nearly twice as expensive.
