I've heard that some countries have introduced the MPL (Multi Pilot Licence). How difficult is it to get a normal CPL licence after completion of the course? What exactly is required?

What speaks for an MPL course?
Is there anybody who has completed the MPL training?

I do not see great difficulties in getting a normal CPL licence later. All you really need to do is getting fit to fly a small single engine IFR equipped airplane alone.

A pretty good document explaining what MPL is all about is here:

I think MPL is great if you plan to fly commercially in a MCC environment. The training is more goal oriented and you will almost certainly finish with a better standard. As always, it also depends on the quality of the school of course.
