With rumours around that SWA is adding 6 new aircraft to its fleet in 2008, how are the chances for poolies to get a seat this year? SWA has now 521 aircraft and they've announced that their fleet total will reach 527 by yearend.

Anyone with insider info on the current situation?

Planning Department says they plan on putting 200 through class this year and maybe start interviewing beginning of '09. So do your math and you will get a rough estimate. But:

Other sources say oldsters are coming back and they may get a seat before any poolies are considered. Don't think that there are more than maybe 10-30 coming back. So poolies will get their chance, just a matter of time.
