Hello All, I am taking a selection course on the KLS aircraft acadamy in Holland. Well I took the first part called PO1 and then I had to quit for personal reasons. Now I want to take the second part PO2, after a year, but a few people I have met tell me that you also can take the latter in foreign country's. I always thinking to live in Spain or some other warm country's for a period, and I was considering to to combine both. Taking the test abroad, I know its a bit ambitious, but I would be very cool imo So does anyone know if these selection tests are international the same? eg. http://www.fibonicci.com/en/instrument-comprehension Stuff like this? I guess hand eye coordination will be also in it? And is yes, can my "dream" be realistic? Finishing the test in Spain or Italy or somewhere else? |

Hmm..is that your own website? Checking on google, the same link appears on another pilot forum... Anyway, the tests vary from company to company. There is no international standard...BTW, what does PO1 PO2 exactly stand for? flightwork.com - International Pilot Network |

PO1 & PO2 when roughly translated are Psychological Investigation 1 & 2 Its an selection procedure that u must pass divided in 2 "seasons" And ye I have posted on 2 other forums as well, but got hardly any reply lol. But what I did found out was, including your statement, that it seems like that every continent has its own selection tests. And if I want to finish the test somewhere else that it probably has to be in Europe. Are you a webmaster interested in flying or are you a pilot yourself? |

Hi notermanz Ah, I see... ...that it seems like that every continent has its own selection tests. I would even go that far to say that every country resp. national carrier/airline has its own tests. Whether these tests actually are any good is questionable. One top airline recruiter once said "put all names of applicants into a box, shake it well, and make your selection...", the result will be the same. ...and yes, I am a pilot myself. Happy landings.
