fliteadmin Board SFO Administrator Moderator registered since: 26.12.2006 Posts: 243	Dear fellow aviators, After having reorganized some of the forums on this site, I decided to add an 'Accident & Incident' Forum. The reason why I did this is a personal one. After accidents and/or incidents rumors are circulating the web and the media. If one wants to find out the real reasons for an accident, patience is needed. Reports are often published years after the accident. But do you really know after a couple of years what really has happened? I often didn't or only remembered the rumors ... I therefore decided to not only launch this forum where anything related to the past and present events can be discussed, but also to make official accident reports easily available on this site.* We can probably learn from all mishaps, but in order to keep the database tidy and useful, I strive to only include reports with a high degree in usefulness regarding accident prevention.
