Language Proficiency Checks - interested in feedbacks

I just completed my Language Assessor Training and I am looking forward to do my first check with a candidate. The course was quite useful, we learned how to assess candidates according the ICAO holistic descriptors. After numerous examples of assessments, we got quite a good feel for what is a level 4 and therefore a PASS and where we would have to draw the line and give a NO PASS. Has anyone collected already some experience with such assessments? What is the feedback of candidates? flightwork.com - International Pilot Network

Deleted user	Interesting subject. I haven't done any assessment yet as I received grandfather rights for three years when it was introduced by ICAO. I will have to extend my entry though in 2011. Do you think it will be possible to revalidate during a regular recurrent check?
