How can I pay for my CV upload?
When upgrading your account, you are asked to pay via PayPal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay. The service also allows to pay with Credit Cards.
Who can upload a CV, do I need an ATPL licence?
Everyone who wants to get a pilot job can upload his/her CV. Whether you are a wannabee looking for a cadet position, a contract or freelance pilot or a seasoned pilot with thousands of hours of experience, your CV will be accepted. PPL, CPL, ATPL, it doesn't matter.
What files can I upload?
Uploading a file is not a must but it will make your online appearance more complete. We recommend a .pdf file for your CV. If you decide to add a picture of yourself, we recommend you use the .jpg file format. Other files such as .doc and .gif are also possible but not recommened for use. Not allowed are .doc, .rtf and .xls files. Make sure your filenames do not contain any special characters and spaces. E.g. \ / : * ? " < > |,'. Such files are rejected by the server and can not be attached to your CV.
After I have uploaded my CV, the filelink shows a strange number.
That's absolutely normal. Its a random number which is added by the system. When you upload your files, we get an e-mail alert. Your data is then checked before its published. This is to avoid unwanted SPAM.
I have submitted my CV. What happens next?
Before your data goes online, it will be checked by our administrator. This is to avoid SPAM and to make sure your data is correct. We will then contact you to confirm the submission.
Your CV will get a reference number, which we will e-mail to you. Keep this reference number. You will need it if you want to change your details or if you want to refer to your CV when contacting us.
In which category is my CV published?
This depends on your licence type, address and origin. If you hold an FAA CPL and an Indian CPL and you are a citizen of India, your CV would appear under 'Pilot CVs Asia'.
How long will my CV stay online?
We keep your CV online as long as you wish. Initially it will be published for 4 months. After that we will contact you to confirm your intentions.
How can I change my data?
You need to be a logged in user to change your details. After the login, follow the on-screen instructions to edit your CV data.
Can I delete my CV?
Yes you can. After searching for your CV as a logged in user, you need to click on the reference number of your CV (not the Edit/Modify button). You will then be forwarded to a new page with your CV on it. Press the 'Hide' button (small eye). A button with a waste bin appears. Press it and your CV will be deleted from the database.

Is my data safe? Who can see my data?
The data and files you submit to us are safely stored on our webserver located in Europe.
If you have chosen to restrict your CV for access by recruiters only, it will only be available to companies (airlines, recruitment agencies) registered with flightwork.com. In all other cases your CV can be downloaded by all website visitors resulting in higher click-through rates.
